Customer Care, NOT

Why did I not receive the refund of the 7.50 for the return as promised? It’s not even about the money anymore. I’ve been left on hold at least 4 times between 25-30 minutes each time waiting to speak to someone about this order. When a resolution is finally reached, I did not get the correct amount refunded. This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with online ordering and I will definitely warn anyone who will listen that Chadwicks will take your money without delay, but getting a refund is not so easy. I don’t care if you refund the $7.50 or not. I am drained from trying to resolve this matter. I’m going to copy this message and send it to your corporate office. This is crazy.

Worthless Phone Service for Order Problem

I waited over 40 minutes to ask a question when trying to place an order for a gift certificate for my sister-in-law. The automated message said that I was up to #1 to be responded to and then the phone hung up on me!!! Wondering how much Chadwick’s even was going to answer the phone with a live person since I had made it to #1 & then hung up on.
Is their Customer Service desk even in the U.S.?
Do they have any intention of actually providing live customer service when I only wanted to sure that the gift certificate went to the right location.
I did not even make it to be able to put in credit card info for the gift certificate.

Beyond worthless, terrible quality

Ordered a top in November of 2016, received it, tried it on and returned it on 12/2/16. Received a bill from Chadwicks, paid it figuring my return and bill crossed in the mail, only paid 1/2. When I received another bill with without a note saying merchandise was received and being processed I called to inquire. Was told it hadn’t been received but they could track it and they knew where it was. There was a hold put on my account, was put in touch with the bank and was issued a credit, put the credit check in the bank and paid the bill. As of today I’m still being bill for this item. Filed a dispute with the bank that handles their credit cards, they sent me a letter stating all was basically taken care of…today I received a bill for the same top in the mail from Chadwicks, after being on the phone for an hour and getting nowhere I gave up and wrote a check for a top that I returned, that they have, and I’ve spent more than the original price of the top in the first place. All that Chadwicks could say was, it’s not possible you were being billed, then the bill in my hand must be a figment of my imagination! Needless to say I will never purchase from Chadwicks or Monroe and Main.
