Gateway Tire

I went to Gateway today to have a tire repair with a coupon they took the car in they didn’t put floor mats down to protect the carpets nor did they put anything on the seats protect the seats from Grease what’s a tire patch was done the young gentleman that was putting the tire back on the car Not only had my wheel cap to the outside on the floor scraping it. When you went to put tire back on with the lug nuts can you over torque them so high that the manager on duty could not hardly break them loose with the torque wrench itself he had to restore come and do it right the problem is when I made it and I showed them that I was right because I am ASC Certified for the past 40 years I work for Oakley kids eat for 15 years Sahara Chevrolet for 15 years I manage National Quick Lube us for five years I work for International Harvester for 10. I’m not some dummy off the street that walks into a place and they think they know everything that you don’t know but what they don’t know is you know more than they know already because you are certified and you been doing it twice the length of their lifetime. I’m upset right now because the guy insulted my intelligence by telling me that the tire does not have to be balanced on the front because the guy Mort the tire or he put it back in the same place or some crap it doesn’t work that way because you can put extra ounces of weight in it by putting a patch in the tire unbalanced is the tire again it needs to be balanced so they never balanced it I had to argue with the guy told me to get out of there pull my car out and abrupt I got grease on the floorboard I got grease on my seat I got a snotty job with a bad attitude not only from the manager but from the guy that was doing the real job itself on the repair when I asked him to just talk them to 80 foot pounds he impact in any way that the car down I said you’re not going to work on the manager comes over there that’s when all of that started he did not care and the sign says clearly playing this day up on the wall used torque wrenches use safety glasses they don’t use none in that shop I didn’t see anybody wearing safety glasses. This is the store at Kirby Whitten Road and Summer Avenue Memphis Tennessee order Bartlett 38133 the manager was a large 235 40 pounds blonde hair men. My family’s been doing business in that place is been open buying tires in fact my son just bought brand new tires 3 months ago from them but yet they’re going to treat other people like that in that family like this take advantage of it now I know they’ve been doing my son that way they were it done in that way once I told him to go back up here because my son is under prescription it should know that it’s okay I’ll just carry it somewhere else I said will for now on maybe it’s best you do go somewhere else and I called him right after I left Gateway today and told him do not do what Gateway no more and I told my daughter I told my uncle’s I told my Aunt I called everybody and I sent messages out through Facebook to everybody I know watch Gateway watch him what they do because they will not give you the proper repair you might as well go to Walmart.
